'Fuji' is not really a standalone printer brand. The printers most people mean when they search for 'Fuji' are actually Fuji Xerox (a joint venture between Fujifilm and Xerox that ran from 1962 to 2021) or the current Fujifilm Business Innovation (FBI) brand. Fujifilm bought out Xerox's stake in 2019 and rebranded to Fujifilm Business Innovation in 2021. Outside the Asia-Pacific region, the same hardware is typically sold as Xerox-branded equivalents.
Fuji product lines
Apeos (current FBI)
Current colour MFP line under Fujifilm Business Innovation. Apeos C2570, C3570, C5570 mid to high-volume colour MFPs for Asia-Pacific markets. Replaces the older Fuji Xerox DocuCentre line.
ApeosPort
ApeosPort series adds networking and embedded apps to the base Apeos hardware. ApeosPort C2360, C3360, C5360 for workgroup colour MFPs.
DocuCentre (legacy Fuji Xerox)
DocuCentre IV, V, VI series colour and mono MFPs from 2008 through 2020. Still in heavy use across Asia-Pacific offices. The technology base is identical to the Xerox WorkCentre and AltaLink models sold elsewhere.
DocuPrint (legacy)
Single-function colour and mono laser printers under the Fuji Xerox brand, sold mainly in Asia-Pacific. The Western equivalents were Xerox Phaser models.

Where do I get Fuji Xerox drivers in 2026?
All Fuji Xerox drivers and support migrated to fujifilm.com or to the regional Fujifilm Business Innovation site (for example fujifilm-bi.com in Asia-Pacific). The old fujixerox.com URL redirects. For Western markets, the equivalent Xerox-branded model is supported on xerox.com and the drivers are functionally identical.
Touchscreen identical to Xerox VersaLink or AltaLink
Apeos and ApeosPort use the same ConnectKey-based software platform as Xerox VersaLink and AltaLink. If you have admin notes for a Xerox MFP, they apply almost exactly. The model number prefix is different (C5570 vs C8055), but the screens, settings paths, and embedded web server look the same.
Toner compatibility between Fuji Xerox and Xerox
Not interchangeable, despite identical hardware. Fuji Xerox and Xerox use different toner formulations and cartridge shapes for the same model engine. Always buy toner labelled for your exact regional model. Third-party compatibles are usually sold separately for Apeos and Xerox versions.
Service support in Western markets
Fuji Xerox MFPs sold in Asia-Pacific do not have a service network in North America or Europe. If you imported one, parts and service are difficult and expensive to source. Most Asia-Pacific Fuji Xerox MFPs do not have direct US or European support paths even though the engineering is identical to a Xerox.

Drivers for current Apeos models are at fujifilm.com or your regional Fujifilm Business Innovation site. For legacy Fuji Xerox and DocuCentre models, fujixerox.com redirects to the appropriate current Fujifilm support page. In Western markets, the Xerox-branded equivalent driver from xerox.com almost always works on a Fuji Xerox unit since the hardware is identical.
What to buy and what to skip
If you are in the Asia-Pacific region, the current Apeos and ApeosPort range from Fujifilm Business Innovation is a competent office MFP with the same engineering pedigree as the Xerox VersaLink and AltaLink lines. Service quality varies by dealer. Outside Asia-Pacific, just buy the Xerox-branded equivalent for guaranteed service and parts availability.

Is Fuji Xerox still a brand?
No. The Fuji Xerox joint venture ended in 2019 when Fujifilm bought out Xerox's stake. The successor brand is Fujifilm Business Innovation, rebranded in 2021. Existing Fuji Xerox hardware is still supported by Fujifilm Business Innovation for drivers, firmware, and consumables.
Is Fuji Xerox hardware the same as Xerox hardware?
Yes for most models, with regional variations in firmware and consumables. The print engines and mechanical designs are shared, the touchscreen software (ConnectKey) is shared, and most service procedures are identical. Toner cartridges are not interchangeable between regions even when the engine is the same.
Can I get a Fuji Xerox printer serviced in the US?
Not officially through Fujifilm Business Innovation, which has no US service network for printers. Some Xerox dealers will service a Fuji Xerox unit unofficially because the parts are largely interchangeable, but this is at the dealer's discretion. Most US buyers should choose the Xerox-branded equivalent instead.
